update – jan 9th

Well, you friends are extremely efficient with your prayers for Kent’s recuperation! He slept eleven hours last night! Then, after lunch today, amidst his declarations that he couldn’t possibly sleep more, he took a good nap! Home is good. He has a great nurse here, too. (Me, of course.) He is sitting at his desk, catching up on stuff, e-mailing friends, and feeling rather “normal” – unless he walks more than 10 steps. Then he has to sit and breathe for a spell. He is walking and moving around a lot more at home than he would in the hospital, so he is gaining strength by default. He will keep improving every day now, thanks to your prayers. Those prayers have rained down power from the Great Physician, and Kent is the beneficiary. I love every one of you, Davidene
