Humphreys Update

Kent and Davidene leave on May 25th to go back to Johns Hopkins to meet with both his Pulmonary physician and his Rheumatologist.  Kent has been able to reduce his steroids over the last few weeks and the disease has remained under control.  He hopes that this will help him to begin to  lose weight.  After a busy few months of speaking around Oklahoma, Kent will take off most of the summer and concentrate on writing and editing the My Heart to Yours series and spend some time with the family and grandchildren at the lake.  Kent continues to take daily breathing treatments and his breathing has been stable since last fall.

Thank you so much Kent and Davidene for keeping us up-to-date on your health issues, appts. and your summer plans. Also appreciate your monthly “Encouragement on your Journey Alone”! My Journey Alone with My Lord started on June 5, 2008. The Lord is so good! . . . though I do miss Harv so much but have special memories!!. I have a special family who love and support me so much as well as many friends. I’m praying your appointment at John’s Hopkins and that your summer will bring much refreshment to both of you!
II Sam. 22:33 “God is my strength and power and He makes my way perfect!” a special verse of Harv’s and it is mine also!!
    In His love and faithfulness,
