Oct 6th – update

This is a short note to let you know that Kent is still doing so well. He is walking a mile every day (at least since we’ve been home from Tucson). We went to church this evening, and realized that it was the first spontaneous evening thing we have done. I am rather pleased. We are relaxing this week. The previous two weeks were really hectic, so we are staying low, doing little, and spending time in the evenings just reading and sitting together. We needed the rest. This weekend is a family wedding (our nephew Blake), and that is going to be great fun. We are going to be ready for the festivities on Fri and Sat.

Kevin’s family has returned home, and the days have been hard for Debra. Her good friend from England, Lulu, is staying the week, so Debra has a little company. I have seen them for a few minutes each day, but next week I will plan to spend more time with Debra.

Thanks for being our friends. Love, Davidene
