august 4 – update

Today has been a mercifully quiet day. I have been home all day (can you believe it?), and only those of you who do not enjoy running here and there  multiple times a day in 103 degree hunid weather can understand what a treasure that has been.

Kent came home this morning (a friend halped by going to get him), while I waited for the vest respiratory system to be delivered. He had a treatment with one while still in the hospital this morning, and has been coughing productivly all day. Right now, it is our hopeful spot on the horizon. It is now 4:30 pm and it has not yet arrived, so maybe tomorrow. We still don’t know anything new from the two drs that are studying Kent’s case. It is just SOOO nice to have him home.

Another bright spot – WE CLOSED ON THE SALE OF OUR FORMER HOUSE!!!!!!! What a relief! I hope the new folks enjoy creating the memories and the family heritage that we enjoyed there.

It has been such a pleasant day; I pray that yours has been as well. Enjoy this evening with your families, Davidene

But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly steadily surely the time approaches when the vision will be fullfilled. If it seems slow do not despair for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day. – Habakkuk 2:3. This was the promise Nell and I claimed when we had to sell our house in Stillwater 3 years ago. God is faithful, it was not overdue a single day!
