june 9th – update

Our second day home has been medically successful, restful, and peaceful. Kent is using his time to start writing his next book, rather than sit around getting “cabin fever”. I am so proud of the way he works on his recovery. I am working on it, too. Our next goal is to gain strength by June 22nd, for a day of doctors’ appointments. In the meantime, I probably won’t blog quite as much unless something unusual happens. Hopefully, our days will become “business as usual” – breathing treatments, getting used to the VPAP machine at night, resting, walking a little, writing, and enjoying being together. We are learning a new way of life, and I think we are up to the challenge. Kent is adjusting well to limitations, and maybe they will lessen as time goes on. So please keep us in your prayers, and remember how grateful we are for you. In Him, Davidene
