May 4th – kent’s health update

Yesterday was uneventful, in every way. No word from John’s Hopkins. Kent got to go enjoy watching grandson Caleb receive scholastic awards for this school year (a good “regular”) event. Only one doctor’s appt. today with no startling news. I had a good day, too. I spent it buying kayaks for our kids and grandkids to use at the lake. Now that makes me happy!I can see them in my mind’s eye – paddling around, splashing each other, fishing, laughing. I was explaining the features of the kayaks to our avid fisherman, Jake. I said, “Jake, it even has a cooler, so you can take your lunch and cold drinks and stuff!”  He laughed and said, “Woms, I think I will put fish in there.” Oh, yeah, well… I guess grandmas think differently than 14 year old fishermen.  Today I go to the cemetary to make a different (‘getting affairs in order’)kind of purchase. So keep praying, and THANK YOU because we know you are. Love, Davidene
